Our team recently took part in a Bioprocessing Workshop at the Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry.
During the course, we had the opportunity to learn more about working with bioreactors and the challenges of scaling up bioprocesses, from small-scale production to larger-scale systems.
As part of the workshop, we worked with bacterial cultures to produce bioplastics, exploring how fermentation conditions can be optimized to improve production.
It was a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with bioprocessing and better understand what it takes to move from an idea in the lab towards a scalable production process. 🔬🧫
Thank you to the organizers for the great workshop and the opportunity to learn and experiment!
