This week Adela took a trip to International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw to prpare fresh graphene-oxide cryo-EM grids with the invaluable help of dr Mariusz Czarnocki-Cieciura. We hope that making these grids fresh and with your own hands may be the answer to some of the problems we face when freezing. Adela took the grids with her to Krakow to SOLARIS centre for the freezing and screening with Glacios Cryo Transmission Electron Microscope. A lot of work and miles in one week but with very promising results at the end.
