We would like to share with you the wonderful experience we had during this year’s XXVI Summer School of Molecular Biology and Medicine. Our group consisted of 67 enthusiastic students from various universities and institutes, representing Gdańsk, Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, and even Odessa! It was an unforgettable time filled with learning, bonding, and amazing moments.
The theme of this year’s school, „RNA in Biology and Medicine,” came to life through exceptional lectures delivered by 11 distinguished speakers who joined us from renowned institutions such as the International Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology in Warsaw, the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Grenoble, University College Cork in Cork, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, the Medical University of Łódź, the University of Bergen, the Biotechnology Center at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
In addition to acquiring knowledge, we engaged in team-building activities, including a field game, a kayaking adventure, and a costume ball, all set against the backdrop of the picturesque lakes of Kashubia. This year’s edition was organized in collaboration with the International Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology in Warsaw and received generous support from our sponsors, KAWA.SKA and MegaMocni.
