From 17 to 20 September 2025, members of MRSLab took part in the 6th BIO Life Science Congress (BIO2025) in Poznań, organised by the Polish Biochemical Society. The congress brought together researchers from across the life sciences, featuring keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, career development events, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Our team arrived in Poznań full of enthusiasm, ready to share our latest research. Throughout the meeting, MRSLab members contributed actively with both poster presentations and an oral talk, engaging with colleagues and exchanging perspectives.
A key moment for the lab was Michał’s presentation, based on Adela’s PhD project, which examined the role of cardiolipin in regulating nuclease activity within the mitochondrial repair machinery. This was an excellent opportunity to highlight the strength of our work and open new discussions in the field.
In addition, several members of MRS presented posters, sparking interactive conversations and allowing us to showcase recent results to the broader scientific community. These sessions offered valuable feedback and created space for scientific dialogue.
We are especially proud that Ania received a Best Poster Award for her contribution. This distinction recognises the high quality of her work and represents a well-deserved success for both her and the team.
Taking part in BIO2025 was a rewarding experience, and we return motivated to continue advancing our projects. We also warmly thank the organisers of BIO2025 for an excellently prepared event.
