We are pleased to share that Roksana, a PhD student in MRSLab, has received the Award of the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Genetics Society for the best Master’s thesis in genetics in the 2024/25 academic year.
Her Master’s thesis, entitled “Unique features of DNA polymerase P271 from bacteriophage vB_EfaS_271”, was completed as part of her MSc research in MRSLab. The work focused on the biochemical and functional characterisation of a bacteriophage DNA polymerase, contributing to a broader understanding of DNA replication mechanisms in viral systems.
We are proud of this achievement and happy to see Roksana continue her scientific path as a PhD student in our laboratory. We wish her all the best in the next stage of her research career.
